Online Data Science classes for kids

Codinzy's data science course is a live, online coding class for kids ages 10+, not pre-recorded videos. Your child learns to code with the same tutor every lesson, either 1-on-1 or in a small group of 2–4 students, so the pace always matches your child.

Every lesson is project-based: kids build real games, apps and websites from the first classes and finish the course with a portfolio of their own work and a STEM.org-accredited certificate. Classes are scheduled in your own time zone.

Data Science course questions

What age is the Data Science course for?

It's designed for ages 10+ (grades 6-12). In the free trial class the tutor checks your child's level and confirms it's the right fit before you decide anything.

Does my child need any prior experience?

Some familiarity with coding basics helps, but it isn't required: the trial class doubles as a level assessment, and our tutors adjust the starting point to your child.

How are the classes taught?

All classes are live with a real tutor — never pre-recorded videos. You can choose private 1-on-1 sessions (45 minutes) or a small group of 2–4 students (60 minutes), with two classes per week. The full course is 96 Lessons over about 12 months.

Is there a certificate?

Yes — on completion your child earns the Data Science & AI Specialist certification, STEM.org accredited, downloadable as a PDF and shareable as a digital badge.

What if we want to stop midway?

You only ever pay for classes taken: a full refund before any completed class, and a full pro-rata refund at any point after — never store credit.
