1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use codinzy.com, book a free trial class, enrol in a course or use the student and parent dashboards. They form an agreement between you and Codinzy LLC, 30 N Gould St, Suite R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States ("Codinzy", "we", "us").
By booking a class or using our services you accept these terms, our privacy policy and our refund policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Our service
Codinzy is an online school teaching coding and AI to children and teens in grades 1–12 (about ages 5 to 17). Our services include:
- live online classes taught by a real tutor, private 1-on-1 or in small groups, in Scratch, Python, web development, mobile app development, game development and Data Science & AI (see all courses);
- class activities, projects, quizzes, certificates and parent progress reports;
- coding camps and competitions, which may have their own details on their pages;
- the Codzy support chat and our support team.
Classes are taught in English and scheduled in your family's time zone.
3. Parents, students and accounts
Our students are children and teens, so a parent or legal guardian books classes, manages the account and accepts these terms on the student's behalf. You are responsible for:
- giving accurate information, including your child's age, grade and time zone;
- keeping sign-in details and one-time codes private (our team will never ask for them);
- all activity under your account, and telling us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
4. Free trial class
The free trial class is a real live lesson of up to 60 minutes with a tutor, who checks your child's level and recommends a course. It is 100% free, you do not enter payment details to book it, and there is no obligation to continue. A booked trial can be rescheduled or cancelled from the trial dashboard you receive after booking.
5. Plans, prices and payment
After the free trial you choose a plan. Prices are per class, in US dollars:
- Plus: $6 a class. Small group of 3–4 students, 60-minute classes, 2 a week.
- Premier: $12 a class. Micro group of 2–3 students, 60-minute classes, 2 a week.
- Prime: $15 a class. Private 1-on-1, 45-minute classes, 2–3 a week.
Classes are paid in advance through a payment page we send you. When your prepaid classes are running low, we send a payment link for the next ones. We accept cards through Stripe, bKash and Bangla QR, and a payment page may also offer Wise or a local bank transfer. Payment pages can expire; if one has, contact us for a new one.
The price shown on your payment page is the price you pay for those classes. If our prices change, the new prices apply only to classes you pay for afterwards.
6. Cancellations and refunds
You only pay for the live classes your child has actually taken. If no live class has been completed, you get a full refund. After that you can cancel at any time and get back the amount paid minus the completed classes at your plan's per-class rate, to your original payment method. The full rules, including what counts as a completed class, are in our refund policy.
7. Scheduling, rescheduling and tutors
- Class times are agreed after enrolment and scheduled in your time zone. Your child keeps the same tutor every lesson.
- Rescheduling depends on your plan: Prime has unlimited rescheduling, Premier groups reschedule by agreement with the group, and Plus has no rescheduling. To reschedule, contact our team.
- If Codinzy cancels a class, or a class is missed because of a problem on our side (such as a tutor being unavailable or a platform issue), it is never counted against you.
8. Live classes, devices and recordings
- Classes run in Codinzy's online classroom in the browser. Your child needs a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam, a microphone and a stable internet connection (at least 3 Mbps), using an up-to-date Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge. You can test your setup on our system check page.
- Paid classes may be recorded so students can rewatch them from their dashboard. Recordings are for the student and their family only and must not be shared or published.
- Join links and class materials are for the enrolled student only.
9. Student conduct and safety
We want every class to be safe, kind and focused. Students are expected to be respectful to their tutor and classmates. We may suspend or end access for:
- harassment or bullying of students or tutors;
- sharing inappropriate content in class, in chat or in projects;
- recording, photographing or sharing other students without permission;
- misusing our classroom, website or other services.
Parents can raise any concern about a class with our team, and we will look into it.
10. Certificates, progress reports and rewards
- Students who complete a course earn a STEM.org-accredited certificate (Young Scratch Developer, Python Programmer, Web Developer or Code Oracle), as a downloadable PDF and a shareable digital badge.
- Parents receive AI-generated progress reports and can follow progress on the dashboard.
- Students earn free class credits for every successful referral: a friend who books a free trial and enrols.
11. Codzy, our AI support assistant
Codzy answers common questions on our website using AI. It can make mistakes, so information about your account, payments and refunds is confirmed by our team, and you can ask to talk to a person at any time. Codzy cannot book classes or take payments for you.
12. Intellectual property
Our course materials, lessons, videos, software, designs and the Codinzy name and logo are owned by Codinzy or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Students may use them for their own learning. They may not be copied, resold or published without our written permission.
13. Limitation of liability
We work hard to deliver every class as described, but we cannot guarantee that our website or classroom will always be available or free of errors, for example during internet or provider outages.
To the extent the law allows, Codinzy, its officers, employees and tutors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of our services. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded, or your right to a refund under our refund policy.
14. Ending your account
You can stop classes and close your account at any time; refunds follow our refund policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close your account without a breach on your side, we refund any classes you have paid for and not taken.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time and will post the new version on this page with a new "last updated" date. If a change is material, we will give at least 30 days' notice before it takes effect.

Questions about our terms
Is there a long-term contract?
No. You pay in advance for classes, you only pay for the live classes your child takes, and you can stop at any time under our refund policy.
Can we reschedule a class?
It depends on the plan. Prime (1-on-1) has unlimited rescheduling, Premier groups reschedule by agreement with the group, and Plus has no rescheduling. Contact the team to reschedule a class.
What does my child need for live classes?
A laptop or desktop computer with a webcam, a microphone and a stable internet connection (at least 3 Mbps), and an up-to-date Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge. A phone screen is too small for coding.
Can my child rewatch classes?
Yes. Students can rewatch recordings of their paid classes from their dashboard. Trial classes are not available to rewatch.
